Former Manchester United star Louis Saha has heaped praise on Marcus Rashford following the Red Devils’ 3-1 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League on Sunday.
Rashford has produced a mixed bag of performances over the course of the campaign but he has recently found form and has recently been on the scoresheet.
Against Brighton, he scored United’s third goal of the game shortly after Lewis Dunk netted for the visitors and that pretty much ended the Seagulls’ prospects of making a comeback.
Still, Rashford was quite disappointing with his finishing and he missed an open goal from six yards while squandering several other chances to find the net.
Fortunately, that did not affect the Red Devils in any way and following the game, Saha reserved special praise for Rashford, who was a regular threat in the final third of the field.
Rashford was heavily criticised by the fans for the poor finishing and positioning before the last international break but he has since redeemed himself.
In the past seven matches, he has found the net on six occasions and the presence of Anthony Martial has certainly released some of the scoring burden from his shoulders.
