Lautaro Martinez open to joining Arsenal if this happens

Lautaro Martinez would be open to joining Arsenal this summer if Inter Milan are prepared to sanction his sale, a report from The Athletic claims.

The Argentine had a fantastic 2020/21 campaign for the Nerazzurri, bagging 19 goals and 11 assists from 48 games.

There has not been much speculation over his future this summer, but it appears that the Gunners are now keen.

The north London giants are long-term admirers of Lautaro, and they recently enquired about him.

They proposed a part-exchange deal involving Alexandre Lacazette, but Inter prefer cash instead.

Martinez, who is valued at 80 million euros by Transfermarkt, would be open to joining the Gunners.

Inter are prepared to sell him for the right price such that they can keep hold of Romelu Lukaku.

The club have eased their financial concerns with Achraf Hakimi’s sale to Paris Saint-Germain.

They are still looking to ease their wage bill, and have not ruled out Lautaro’s potential exit.

A deal won’t be straightforward for the Gunners, and they will need to recoup funds first.

Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah could make way for the potential arrival of the 23-year-old marksman.

Considering the Gunners’ lack of outward activity, this could go down to the wire.

  1. My concern is let Arteta and Edu go for quality players so far so good now they are in better position to know exactly where needs to fortify but if I will suggest I will say they should for Tammy Abraham if really they need attacker in the other hand I will also say they should allow Aubanyang and Lacazette to continue this season now they have added some new players because if they are feed with balls they can bang goals but the decision are yours
