Arsenal can sign 30 goals/assists star for €76m, player interested in transfer

Arsenal have been handed a free run to sign Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez, Eurosport claims.

The Gunners are lining up a new striker this summer, and Martinez has recently emerged as the prime target.

It initially seemed that Inter won’t sanction his sale, but things have moved differently in recent days.

The north Londoners are in regular contact with Inter for the Argentine, who would like to join them.

Inter are eyeing a fee of around €76m, and it remains to be seen whether a deal materialises.

Martinez has made steady progress over the past few years at Inter, and he played his best last term.

The 23-year-old amassed 19 goals and 11 assists from 48 outings for the San Siro giants.

He formed a deadly strike partnership with Romelu Lukaku as Inter lifted the Scudetto after 11 years.

Lukaku has also been tipped for a return to the Premier League with Chelsea.

It would come as a surprise if Inter part ways with Lukaku and Martinez in the same window.

The Gunners need to act fast to sign Martinez with Tottenham Hotspur keeping tabs.

Their north London rivals won’t enter the race unless Harry Kane heads for the exit door.
