Kante and Havertz start, Predicted Chelsea line-up (3-4-1-2) vs Tottenham Hotspur

Kante insists Chelsea motivated by UCL not Man Utd revenge - Football365

Chelsea are scheduled to host Tottenham Hotspur in their final pre-season friendly on August 4.

The Blues recently faced Arsenal in the first game of The Mind Series where they came on top with a 2-1 win.

They will be aiming to end pre-season on a high with another win over their London counterparts.

A victory could be ideal ahead of the European Super Cup clash against Villarreal on August 11.

Thomas Tuchel does not have the complete squad to pick form amid recent international commitments.

However, he will want to pick his best suitable line-up in preparation for the Super Cup encounter.

Formation: 3-4-1-2

Predicted Line-up:

Edouard Mendy is a definite starter in goal, but there could be a change at the heart of the defence.

Trevor Chalobah did a good job alongside Kurt Zouma and Antonio Rudiger, but could make way for Andreas Christensen.

Callum Hudson-Odoi could continue at right wing-back, but we fancy a change on the opposite end with Marcos Alonso coming in.

In midfield, Mateo Kovacic could keep his place. N’Golo Kante appears set to partner him.

Further forward, Hakim Ziyech may drop to the bench after misfiring against the Gunners.

Christian Pulisic, who played at left wing-back on Sunday, could feature in an attacking midfield role.

We are backing Timo Werner and Kai Havertz to start up front for the Blues.

Werner has yet to find his scoring boots, but came up with an inch perfect assist for Havertz against Arsenal.

Predicted Chelsea line-up (3-4-1-2): Mendy; Zouma, Christensen, Rudiger; Hudson-Odoi, Kovacic, Kante, Alonso; Pulisic, Werner, Havertz.
