Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc has provided an update on the future of Jadon Sancho amid the ongoing transfer speculation associating him with Chelsea FC and Manchester United.
The England international has been a top performer for Dortmund over the past 18 months and he has already notched nine goals and 10 assists from 20 appearances this season.
As such, there has been plenty of attention towards his performances and the likes of United and Chelsea FC have been touted to land his signature at the turn of the year.
Among the duo, Chelsea FC seem the more desperate to get their hands on the attacker after their transfer ban over the summer and reports have recently indicated that they could break their club-record to land his services.
Amidst this, Zorc has clarified that Dortmund are content to continue with Sancho in their ranks and he does not see any scenario where the teenager could be sold during the January transfer window.
“We’re continuing to plan with him. He’s a fundamental player for us and I do not see any scenario where he leaves us,” he was quoted as saying by Goal.com.
Sancho has found a purple patch since the international break and he has bagged five goals and two assists in the past four games for Dortmund in all competitions.
