Chelsea FC are scheduled to face Lille in the final group stage game of the Champions League on Tuesday. The Blues are currently behind second-placed Valencia on the head-to-head record and they face a must-win situation against their French opponents or else, they could be eliminated from the competition. The Blues can progress with a draw at Stamford Bridge but for that, they would require Ajax to win their game against Valencia.

Kepa Arrizabalaga has come under criticism from the fans for the poor distribution but he continues to remain Lampard’s preferred pick in goal.
In the defence, Reece James and Cesar Azpilicueta should continue in the full-back spots but there should be a change at the heart of the backline. With Fikayo Tomori injured, Antonio Rudiger could make only his second appearance of the season following his groin injury comeback. Kurt Zouma had a forgettable game at Everton over the weekend but he should still get the nod over Andreas Christensen as Lampard may consider the performance as a one-off.
In the midfield, Lampard will certainly want more protection and that should witness the return of Jorginho to the lineup alongside N’Golo Kante and Mateo Kovacic. That would probably mean that Mason Mount will drop to the bench.
In the frontline, Lampard has the option of playing Callum Hudson-Odoi but he may not tinker with a combination which has worked. Christian Pulisic and Willian should start on the wings with leading scorers Tammy Abraham featuring upfront as the lone striker.

Comment Text* that’s a good lineup in deed. Lille will suffer in the hands of the boys. the only problem, when a player makes a mistake continuously, he should be dropped. I prefer Christensen to line up with Rudiger instead of Zouma.
