‘Thank goodness’,’Get it signed’, Manchester United fans react as club agree deal ahead of second summer signing

A section of the Manchester United fans have expressed their delight amid reports that the club have agreed on a transfer package for the services of Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

The Red Devils have been hot on the trail of the right-sided defender in the past few weeks and The Daily Record has now claimed that they have finalised a fee in the region of £55m to sign the 21-year-old from Crystal Palace.

Amidst this, a number of United fans have acknowledged their pleasure over the report and a few are hoping to see Ashley Young replaced at right-back ahead of next season.

Here are some of the tweets………….

At present, Wan-Bissaka is plying his trade with the England under-21s at the European Championship in Italy and that is certain to delay the player’s formal transfer to Old Trafford, should the reported agreement be true.

Wan-Bissaka has yet to score a professional goal during this career but he amassed four assists during the recently-concluded campaign where he was one of the standout performers for the Eagles.

United regularly relied on Ashley Young to perform the right-back duties last term, but the potential arrival of Wan-Bissaka should drop him down the pecking order and probably behind last summer’s signing Diogo Dalot.
