A section of the Manchester United fans have expressed their delight and enthusiasm with the club seemingly close to securing the signing of Bruno Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon.
The Red Devils have been keeping a close watch on the midfielder’s proceedings since the turn of the year and it appears that they are now on the cusp of landing his service.
According to Sport Mediaset’s Prota, United have managed to beat various clubs to the Portuguese’s signature and only a few formalities remain before the move is made official.

Fernandes has come through a tremendous season with Sporting where he bagged 32 goals and 16 assists from just 53 appearances and that has attracted interest from several top European sides.
However, United are understood to have found the edge by placing a better transfer package on the table and the move could be announced in the coming days, barring any late setbacks.
Meanwhile, Swansea City’s Daniel James has already undergone a medical with the club and the Welshman is likewise expected to be confirmed as a Red Devil once he returns from international duty.
