Manchester United are keen on securing the signature of Crystal Palace’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka this summer, provided the Eagles don’t demand over the odds for the right-back.
The 21-year-old has made excellent progress with the south London outfit since making his breakthrough during the 2017/18 season and he is now said to be on the cusp of an England call-up.
As such, he has already been linked with a number of elite Premier League clubs and among those, United have been frequently linked with a summer move for the right-sided defender.
According to Evening Standard, United are said to hold a strong interest in signing Wan-Bissaka with the focus more on pursuing young British talent rather than going after marquee signings.
The same publication claims that the Red Devils have a limit to their spending and they are supposedly reluctant to pay more than 50 million pounds to prise away the defender from Selhurst Park.
United are currently possessing the services of Ashley Young, Diogo Dalot and Matteo Darmian for the right-back next term, but the latter is expected to leave the club in the near future.
This pretty much leaves Young as the first-choice right-back with Dalot acting as his deputy, and that does not present much confidence, given the former has shown a drop in performance levels while the latter is still getting to the grips with the English game.
