A section of the Chelsea FC supporters have expressed their delight after hearing the news about the potential return of Antonio Rudiger to first-team action.
Rudiger, who is valued at £45m by Transfermarkt, has been out for the past two-and-a-half months with a groin problem but manager Frank Lampard recently hinted that he is close to a comeback.
Various reports including Standard Sport have now confirmed that Rudiger is likely to make his second appearance of the Premier League season at Everton and that has pleased some of the club’s faithful.

I’ve missed his enthusiasm and passion when he plays for us. I think Zouma could do with a rest and pair Tomori with Rudi.

He is certainly needed specially his experience and leadership which we are lacking in the back

Rudiger has been a notable miss at the heart of the club’s defence despite the fact that Fikayo Tomori and Kurt Zouma have formed a credible partnership in recent months.
The central defensive duo have been the mainstays in the Blues’ impressive first half to the season but they have still made the occasional mistakes with the positioning which have cost the team dearly.
As such, it is a no-brainer for Rudiger to return to the lineup and many Blues fans have suggested that Tomori should partner the Germany international at Goodison Park.
