Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka has reportedly told Crystal Palace that he would like to secure a permanent move to Manchester United during the ongoing transfer window.
The England youth international is widely regarded as one of the best right-backs in the Premier League and his progress over the past year has caught the attention of elite clubs.
Among those, United are said to be leading the race to sign him, but so far, they have yet to come to terms with the Eagles’ £60m asking price for the right-sided defender.
According to The Sun, the youngster is said to be frustrated with the Eagles’ reluctance to sell him to United and he has now requested the south London side to sanction the move.
It is added that the player has yet to hand in a transfer request but remains eager to secure a dream move to United, where he could become their first-choice right-back.
United are understood to have already failed with a £40m bid for Wan-Bissaka and they have now made a fresh offer of around £50m for the defender which still remains below the Eagles’ valuation.
