Strongest Predicted Chelsea lineup (4-3-3) vs West Ham United, Hudson-Odoi and Azpilicueta start

Chelsea will be aiming to return to winning ways in the Premier League when they host West Ham United at Stamford Bridge on Monday night.

The Blues are without a win in successive league games and that sees them down in the eighth spot, nine points behind leaders Liverpool with a game in hand.

The Blues have received some good news on the injury front with both Callum Hudson-Odoi and Hakim Ziyech having overcome their hamstring issues, but Reece James could be out.

Formation: 4-3-3

Predicted Lineup:

Edouard Mendy has not been at his best in the previous two games and he will be aiming to step up with a better display. He is expected to start in goal once more.

In the defence, there could be a change with Reece James a major doubt with a knee injury. In his place, club-captain Cesar Azpilicueta could feature in the right-back position.

N’Golo Kante should feature in the holding midfield role. Kai Havertz had a forgettable display in midweek and he could be replaced by Kovacic. The Croatian should partner Mason Mount.

Further forward, Timo Werner could drop to the bench on the back of his recent league form. He has been average with his finishing and was pretty woeful with his distribution against the Wolves as well.

That could see Callum Hudson-Odoi, who was involved in full training start on the left wing. Christian Pulisic should feature on the opposite flank with Olivier Giroud leading the line.

Hakim Ziyech was not spotted in the team training session recently and he may not be ready to face the Hammers. The Blues will be aiming to beat the Hammers for the first time in three matches.

Predicted Chelsea lineup: Edouard Mendy; Cesar Azpilicueta, Kurt Zouma, Thiago Silva, Ben Chilwell; N’Golo Kante, Mateo Kovacic, Mason Mount; Christian Pulisic, Olivier Giroud, Callum Hudson-Odoi
