Frank Lampard provides fresh injury update on Ziyech, Hudson-Odoi and Pulisic

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has provided an update on the fitness of Hakim Ziyech, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Christian Pulisic ahead of tonight’s Premier League clash at Everton.

The Blues recently suffered a double blow with both Ziyech and Hudson-Odoi sustaining hamstring injuries and Lampard has revealed that the duo won’t return for another couple of weeks at least.

“We’re the same as we were in midweek. Hakim Ziyech and Callum [Hudson-Odoi] we know are out for around a couple of weeks,” He told.

Christian Pulisic missed the recent trip to Krasnodar after a minor hamstring concern, but Lampard has shed any fears by stating that he will be available for the Toffees clash.

“Christian Pulisic had a tiny bit of awareness off the back of the Leeds game with one of his hamstrings but he’s training normally so we should be as we were,” He added.

Pulisic has suffered multiple injury concerns since joining the Blues last year. Lampard may look to ease him into the proceedings and may be wary of starting him tonight.

Chelsea can temporarily go top of the Premier League with a win against Everton. They have picked up just one point from the previous three visits. It remains to be seen whether they can break the winless streak.
