‘Reminds me of Hazard’, ‘Unreal baller’, these Chelsea FC fans are delighted with attacker’s performance vs Lille

A section of Chelsea FC fans have raved about the performance of Christian Pulisic during the club’s 2-1 win over Lille in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

The west London giants need to win their group stage game to ensure their progress to the next round without depending on the other result and they managed to do so with a 2-1 scoreline.

Pulisic was the catalyst towards a strong first-half display where he contributed in the lead-up to the opening goal scored by Tammy Abraham in the 19th minute.

Thereafter, he was a regular threat from the left flank as he made a couple of runs into the box but unfortunately, that did not necessarily materialise into a goal.

The USA international was substituted shortly after the hour mark but he made his impression on the game with 8 dribbles, 3 chances created and even managed a tackle on the opposition.

Here are some of the reactions towards the display….

Pulisic could have played through the entire 90 minutes at the same intensity but Lampard did the right thing to substitute him, considering he remains undroppable for the Premier League duties.

His replacement Callum Hudson-Odoi had a genuinely off-day as he struggled to make any impact and the youngster seems to have lost his confidence after dropping out-of-favour in recent months.
