Pulisic and Jorginho start, Strongest Predicted Chelsea FC lineup (4-2-3-1) to beat Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge

Chelsea FC will be aiming to return to winning ways in the Premier League when they host an injury-plagued Bournemouth side at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon.

The Blues are still comfortably placed in the fourth spot in the standings but they need to be wary of the fact that the likes of Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur could catch with another more slip-ups in the top-flight.

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Predicted Chelsea FC Lineup:

Kepa Arrizabalaga has been a constant in goal for the Premier League and Champions League duties this term and he is expected to feature between the sticks against Eddie Howe’s side.

In the defence, the centre-back pairing should remain the same with Fikayo Tomori injured while Andreas Christensen has not played to the best of his abilities this season.

In the right-back spot, Reece James may probably return to the mix to offer Cesar Azpilicueta with a breather after his credible performance versus Lille, where he bagged the goal which turned out to be the winner.

On the opposite end, Emerson should continue to field the position ahead of Marcos Alonso, who has simply fallen out-of-favour under manager Frank Lampard.

In the midfield, Mateo Kovacic could be rested as he has looked jaded while coming off in recent games. Jorginho and N’Golo Kante will probably feature in the centre of the park with the former making his first start in three Premier League matches.

In the attack, it should be the usual personnel. Willian and Christian Pulisic are guaranteed their spots on the right and left wing respectively. Mason Mount should return to the lineup in the number 10 position with the season’s top-scorer, Tammy Abraham, leading the line once more.

Predicted Chelsea FC lineup: Kepa Arrizabalaga, Reece James, Antonio Rudiger, Kurt Zouma, Emerson, Jorginho, N’Golo Kante, Willian, Christian Pulisic, Mason Mount, Tammy Abraham
