‘He’s a monster, so strong’, Callum Hudson Odoi praises Chelsea FC star’s quality

Chelsea FC attacker Callum Hudson-Odoi has spoken positively about his teammate Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who is currently in the final phase of recovery from a serious Achilles injury.

The England international has not participated for the Blues since May when he picked up the injury setback in a friendly but he is making strides towards a first-team comeback.

Of late, Loftus-Cheek has been spotted carrying out some light training indoors but there has been no indication from Frank Lampard over his possible return date.

Still, it may not be long before the midfielder returns to the mix and Hudson-Odoi has heaped praise on his compatriot by hailing his qualities on the field of play.

“Ruben, you don’t think he’s fast but he’s fast! He’s got strides, plus he’s strong. He’s so strong. I didn’t even know he’s that strong until one time in training he put his arm on my chest and I was like ‘wow’. He’s a monster,” he told.

Chelsea FC have gone three matches in all competitions without a win but they will be hoping to bounce back when they contest Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.

The clash won’t be straightforward with the Villains possessing quality with the likes of Jack Grealish and John McGinn in their ranks and there is no room for complacency for the hosts.
