Manchester United will be eyeing a fourth-straight win in all competitions when Everton make the trip to Old Trafford for Sunday’s Premier League encounter.
The Red Devils have recently bagged sublime 2-1 wins over Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City and the confidence should be sky high ahead of the Toffees clash.
Still, they have struggled against teams, who are prepared to sit at the back and the Merseyside outfit could present a different test for United compared to recent league games.
Formation: 4-2-3-1
Predicted Manchester United Lineup:
The backline should remain unchanged from the Manchester derby win. David de Gea is certain to feature in goal with Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw making up a four-man defence.
In the midfield, there are no changes expected. Scott McTominay and Fred have impressed as a pair in recent league games where they have sought to close down opponents and the latter, in particular, has started getting into his groove following a difficult beginning to his United career.
In the attack front, Jesse Lingard remains doubtful for the game after picking up a knock in the derby which has already kept him out of the AZ Alkmaar game. In his position, Andreas Pereira and Juan Mata are the immediate replacements available but we would personally favour Martial playing in the role just behind the main striker.
Elsewhere, Marcus Rashford and Daniel James are undisputed regulars under Solskjaer on the wings. Upfront, Mason Greenwood deserves to start after grabbing two goals and an assist in midweek. The United graduate has largely been restricted to a bench role in the league with the solitary start against Spurs.
