Real Madrid star Eden Hazard has heaped praise on Frank Lampard and believes the Chelsea FC manager can be one of the best managers in the world.
The Blues had a difficult summer where they parted ways with Hazard while they were unable to sign any new players due to the transfer ban imposed by FIFA.
Thereafter, they had a slow beginning to the season where they struggled to register wins but things have changed in the past few months with Lampard providing opportunities for a number of club graduates.
The Blues are presently in the third position with a comfortable nine-point gap over the teams just outside of the Champions League spots and they could finish in the top four which was barely predicted by anyone at the start of the season.
“I wasn’t surprised about Frank Lampard. I know Frank as a player, not a manager, but he is a great guy. He has shown already in four months that he can be one of the best managers in the world. The good thing is they are playing with young English players. They are lucky to have young players with quality,” he told via Goal.com.
Chelsea return from the international break with a testing challenge at Manchester City. The Blues have tended to struggle against the elite Premier League sides this term but they have the perfect chance to prove themselves against the Citizens, who will be missing a few key players through either injury or suspension.
