Eden Hazard gives his prediction for Chelsea FC’s game vs Manchester City

Real Madrid star Eden Hazard believes his former club Chelsea FC have the quality within the squad in order to surprise Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium this weekend.

The Blues are currently third on the Premier League table and they have a one-point advantage over the Cityzens, who recently succumbed to a 3-1 defeat at the hands of leaders Liverpool.

Speaking on Sky Sports, Hazard said that the current squad of young and experienced players can get the better of the Cityzens but the same won’t be easy, considering the 6-0 hammering on the road last term.

“Of course they can beat Man City. It’s not going to be easy, it’s hard to play there and last time we played there we lost 6-0. So it’s bad memories for me and for Chelsea as well but I think this season they are really good. They are really young but really good, so why not go there and win the game?,” he told.

The west London giants have defied the early odds for the top four and they are currently in a comfortable position for the Champions League places with a nine-point advantage over Sheffield United in the fifth spot.

Still, they can’t get carried away by the positive beginning to the campaign, given there are another 26 games for the season and they could go through a run of matches, where they may struggle for form.

Pep Guardiola’s side will be without the services of another key attacker in Bernardo Silva, who has recently received a one-match suspension. However, the likes of David Silva and Ederson may return after overcoming their respective injury concerns.
