A section of the Chelsea supporters believe Willian warrants a new contract on the basis of his performances for the Blues during the current season.
The Brazil international has lacked the consistency in his game over the past few years but he has been impressive under the guidance of Frank Lampard where he has commanded a regular starting role.
Willian has already contributed three goals and two assists this season and a few of the club’s faithful believe the winger should be rewarded with a new deal despite an off-day against Ajax in the recent European meeting.

Willian’s current deal with the Blues expires at the end of the campaign and he has publicly suggested that he would prefer to extend his contract with the west London giants.
The Brazilian is said to be looking for a multi-year contract but the Blues are currently proposing a one-year extension – a policy which has been followed by the club with most players aged above 30.
Chelsea are scheduled to face Crystal Palace in a Premier League London derby this weekend and Willian could start for the eighth top-flight game on the bounce.
