Chelsea FC receive major injury boost with Five Players to return after international break

Chelsea FC could potentially witness the return of five players following the ongoing international break.

Blues boss Frank Lampard confirmed earlier this month that the likes of Pedro, N’Golo Kante and Antonio Rudiger could return for the Wolves clash but there may be further injury comebacks before the end of the month.

Callum Hudson-Odoi has been training alongside the first-team after a long-term Achilles injury and it appears that the teenager is very close to making a first-team return alongside Reece James, who has recovered from an ankle problem.

According to Premier League injury analyst Ben Dinnery, the duo are already in full training with the Blues and they could make their respective comebacks this month, if not after the ongoing international break.

He tweeted:

Hudson-Odoi’s absence has not hampered the team greatly during the opening exchanges but the winger has the speed and trickery which makes him an imminent threat when compared to Pedro or Willian, who have struggled in the final third.

Meanwhile, James has not even made his debut for the Blues but his return is awaited among the Blues fans, considering skipper Cesar Azpilicueta has been poor with his performances at right back during the first month of the new season.
