Arsenal receive major injury boost ahead of Watford clash

Arsenal have received a key injury boost ahead of their Premier League clash at Watford following the first international break of the season.

The Gunners recently played out a thrilling 2-2 draw against Tottenham Hotspur at the Emirates and during that game, Lacazette seemed to have sustained a hamstring injury shortly after the hour mark.

However, according to Football.London, that certainly does not seem the case and the Frenchman had asked to be substituted only because he was struggling with cramp.

Lacazette has been nursing a minor ankle problem sustained during pre-season but manager Unai Emery has recently suggested that the striker is almost close to full fitness.

The striker has once again been ignored for the France national side and the game to the Watford game should provide Lacazette with sufficient time to attain match sharpness.

Meanwhile, Hector Bellerin and Kieran Tierney should integrate into first-team training during the international break and they could feature for the Gunners in some capacity before the end of the current month.
