The agent of Sergej Milikovic-Savic is reportedly prepared to hold talks with Manchester United regarding a summer move for the Serbian midfielder.
The 24-year-old has been given the green light to leave Lazio this summer and it is understood that United are one of the teams to meet the player’s £71m price tag.
As such, his representative is understood to have flown to England to hold a meeting with the Red Devils but the deal does not remain straightforward, as per The Mirror.
United are already in advanced negotiations to land Bruno Fernandes from Sporting this summer and the club may not be able to afford both players without the potential departure of Paul Pogba.
Pogba has been heavily touted to make the move to Real Madrid this summer and reports indicate that any deal for Milinkovic-Savic could coincide with the Frenchman’s switch to the Bernabeu.
Milinkovic-Savic played in a more deeper midfield role during the previous campaign and he managed just five goals for Lazio. Still, he was named the Serie A midfielder of the year due to his excellent tenacity and workrate.
