Manchester United ‘have everything agreed’ to sign £36m French striker

Manchester United are understood to ‘have everything agreed’ with respect to securing the services of Wissam Ben Yedder from Sevilla this summer.

The Frenchman notched a stellar tally of 30 goals and 11 assists for Sevilla during the previous campaign and that has apparently caught the eye of United, Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona.

However, according to La Colina de Nervion, United are said to be on the front foot to land the marksman, given they have given him the assurance of regular gametime compared to other suitors.

The same report claims that the forward’s transfer won’t be dependent on Romelu Lukaku’s future at Old Trafford and rather the Belgian’s departure may offer him with a more prominent role.

Ben Yedder currently has a £36m release clause on his contract and Sevilla will want the sum to be triggered, if they are to part ways with the former Bordeaux star.

United are said to be eyeing as many as three signings following the arrival of Daniel James and Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Swansea City and Crystal Palace respectively.
