£60m defender wants to secure Manchester United transfer

Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka is reportedly keen to secure a summer move to Manchester United, although he has not handed in a transfer request to push through an exit.

The England youth international has been earmarked as the prime target to reinforce the right-back position at Old Trafford but so far, the club have not been able to strike a deal with the Eagles.

According to Metro, the right-back is said to hold the preference to join the Red Devils this summer, but he has not shown any agitation towards his current club for the recent proceedings.

The south London outfit are said to have already turned down a £40m bid from United and Metro suggests that the club are looking for at least £60m in order to sanction his sale.

The valuation can be regarded as steep for a defender, who is just making a name for himself, but United may nonetheless match the figure, considering Ole’s focus of working with talented young players.

Wan-Bissaka has not flourished when it comes to contributing towards the team’s scoresheet but defensively, he has been flawless on occasions and that is supposedly the quality which has attracted widespread interest.
