‘Take a bow’, ‘Living legend’, Chelsea fans are delighted with stunning display from 24-year-old star

Chelsea supporters have praised the showing of goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga during the second leg of the club’s Europa League semi-final against Eintracht Frankfurt.

The Blues had taken an away goal advantage from a 1-1 draw from the opening leg but that did not entirely turn the tie in their favour after Frankfurt found the scoresheet at the Bridge.

Nonetheless, they managed to play out a 1-1 draw for the second-straight week and it was ultimately left to Arrizabalaga to save the tie with his wonderful shot-stopping in the penalty shoot-out.

The Blues were down by one goal after just two conversions but Kepa ensured that the west London giants reached the final after saving the fourth and fifth efforts from the Bundesliga outfit.

Here are some reactions towards his performance….

The Spaniard had come for much criticism from the supporters earlier in the year where he had refused to be substituted prior to the penalty shoot out in the League Cup final against Manchester City.

However, he has more than redeemed himself with his efforts against Frankfurt and it remains to be seen whether the 24-year-old can celebrate European success at the end of the month.
