Chelsea supporters have thanked Eden Hazard for his efforts over the years in the aftermath of the club’s progression to the Europa League final.
The Belgian contributed an assist for Ruben Loftus-Cheek’s goal against Eintracht Frankfurt last night and he thereafter, converted the final penalty in the shoot-out as the Blues booked a Europa League final date against arch-rivals Arsenal.
Following the game, a number of supporters indicated that Hazard may have played at Stamford Bridge for the final time in his career and they thanked for his contributions at the club over the past seven years.
Here are some of the reactions….
Hazard has been instrumental in guiding the club to the top four in the Premier League this term after contributing 16 goals and 15 assists through the campaign.
Still, the attacker will want to end the season with trophy success and it remains to be seen whether the Blues can outclass the Gunners in the competition’s final at the end of the month.
Elsewhere, Hazard has refused to confirm whether he would stay put with the club beyond the current campaign and as things stand, he appears likely to leave the club unless a contract extension is agreed beyond next season.
