Belgium international Eden Hazard has dropped a massive hint that he could stay put with Chelsea beyond the end of the ongoing campaign.
The attacker has been flirting with his future over the past few months where he has revealed his dream of joining Real Madrid while also not ruling out an extension with the Blues beyond June 2020.
Speaking to The Times, Hazard has now hinted that his long-term future could remain with the Blues, given he is content with the progress made under manager Maurizio Sarri.
He added that he is very pleased to work under the Italian tactician with the former Napoli boss thinking about the beautiful game in ‘the same way’ as him.
Hazard has already notched 12 goals and a further 10 assists for the Blues this term and he appears on course to enjoy his best ever individual season despite the Blues’ lack of consistency.
Chelsea have recently witnessed Manchester United leapfrog them to the fourth position in the standings but they can reclaim the position, should they pick up at least a point against Manchester City on Sunday.
