Chelsea ready to make move for in-form La Liga attacker with nine goals and seven assists

Chelsea could reportedly make a fresh attempt to sign Pablo Sarabia from Sevilla when the transfer window reopens at the end of the campaign.

The Spaniard had caught the eye of the Blues during the winter transfer window but they were seemingly prepared to trigger his €22m release clause.

However, a move could not process due to the player’s demands for a €5m contract instead of the €4m package which the Blues were willing to offer.

Nonetheless, the Blues are said to be keeping tabs on the in-form attacker, who has contributed nine goals and seven assists during the current season.

As per Estadio Deportivo, the Blues may face additional competition with Paris Saint-Germain and Dalian Yifang also in line to make a summer bid.

Sarabia currently has 17 months remaining on his contract but he has yet to commit his long-term future to the Andalusian outfit.
