Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth has revealed that Arsenal are likely to acquire the signature of Denis Suarez from Barcelona this month, provided they are willing to include a compulsory buy option.
The Spain international has been earmarked as the leading target for the Gunners this month with manager Unai Emery keen to add more options in the attack front.
However, the north London side are currently not in a position to discuss a permanent deal for the midfielder but Sheth suggests that they could still push through an agreement.
Speaking on The Transfer Podcast via The Star, Sheth has revealed that the Blaugrana are willing to sanction Suarez’s loan switch to the Emirates this month, although they have a major condition for the move to go through.
Suarez has already been deemed surplus to requirements under current boss Ernesto Valverde and it is suggested that they will demand an obligatory buy clause to be included.
Arsenal have also been linked with a potential move for Yannick Carrasco from Dalian Yifang but the Chinese outfit are said to be reluctant to discuss anything less than a straight-cash deal.
