Mark Lawrenson states his prediction for Chelsea’s game against Sheffield Wednesday

BBC Sport pundit Mark Lawrenson has stated his prediction for Chelsea’s FA Cup fourth round tie against Sheffield Wednesday tonight.

The Blues came from behind against Tottenham Hotspur to progress to the League Cup final in midweek and they now have the momentum by their side as they seek to make progress in another Cup competition.

In a report on BBC Sport, Lawrenson has fancied the Blues to come up triumphs by a 2-1 scoreline against Wednesday with Gonzalo Higuain potentially making his debut for the west London side.

The Blues are overwhelming favourites on paper to secure a comfortable win and the same should be witnessed when they tackle Wednesday at the Bridge.

Still, Maurizio Sarri is expected to make wholesale changes to the starting lineup and this may start with an overhaul of the defence which featured against Spurs.

Willy Caballero, Marcos Alonso, Davide Zappacosta, Willian and Higuain are among those, who could feature from the off when Wednesday make the trip to west London.
