Arsenal have received a boost in the pursuit of Ivan Perisic with the attacker keen on pushing through a move to the north London club this month.
The Croatian has been linked with a switch away from Inter Milan over the past few seasons with Manchester United being the main admirers for his services.
However, it is the Gunners, who are currently interested in luring him to the Premier League and Calciomercato reports that the attacker is eager to make the move to the Emirates Stadium.
Nonetheless, the move remains far from straightforward with Inter wanting a straight-cash deal or a short-term loan with the obligation to buy for around £35m during the summer transfer window.
Arsenal are currently restricted in terms of wide options with Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Danny Welbeck on the sidelines, though the former is expected to return from a foot injury next month.
As such, manager Unai Emery appears keen on adding another attacker within the ranks, given Aaron Ramsey looks set to leave on a free transfer next month while Alex Iwobi has not sufficiently impressed.
