Jurgen Klopp explains one main reason why Liverpool are better than Chelsea and Arsenal

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has said that the Reds have been much better than the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal this season due to their consistency with their performances over the course of the campaign.

The Merseyside outfit go into the final gameweek of the league season with an outside chance of securing the title but the same won’t be the case for Chelsea and Arsenal, who are 23 and 27 points behind them respectively.

Speaking ahead of the Wolves game, Klopp said that the main difference between the sides has been the consistency in terms of results during the season.

“We saw Chelsea and Arsenal [reach the Europa League final] – what’s the difference between us? 20 points or so,” he said. “That’s not the difference really but we’ve been so consistent, that’s the difference.”

Liverpool are already through to the Champion League final after their stunning comeback against Barcelona and they are scheduled to face Tottenham Hotspur, who made history of their own against Ajax.

Prior to that, however, their focus will lie on the final gameweek of the Premier League season where they require Manchester City to drop points at Brighton in order to hold any chance of securing the English crown.
