Inter Milan attacker Ivan Perisic is reportedly leaning towards a move to Arsenal during this summer’s transfer window. The Croatian was heavily touted to join the Gunners last winter but a deal never materialised with the Gunners failing to meet the Nerazzurri’s demands for a straight-cash move.
According to The Sun, the 2018 World Cup finalist remains keen on making the switch to the Premier League this summer and he appears to be angling towards a move to the Gunners.
Still, there are no assurances that the north London side may strike an agreement with the Nerazzurri, considering they are working on a limited £45m pre-sales budget for the summer.
The Gunners are looking into potential deals for players where staggered payments are involved and such a proposal may not be preferred by the Nerazzurri, who are aiming to recoup transfer funds to pursue Lukaku.
The San Siro outfit have been widely fancied to land the signature of the Belgium international but so far, they have fallen short of meeting the asking price presented by Manchester United. Inter are likely to demand around £30m for the sale of Perisic.
