Arsenal are reportedly lining up surprise contract offers for midfielder Granit Xhaka and defender Hector Bellerin.
The duo have been tipped to head for the exit door, but the Gunners have not received a suitable offers.
Roma have failed to meet the reported asking price of £17m for Xhaka to date.
On the other hand, Inter Milan are also keen on loaning Bellerin with an option to buy.
The Gunners prefer a permanent exit for the Spaniard if they are to sell.
It is now reported that they are planning to keep the experienced duo at the club.
The hierarchy will seek to extend their deals expiring in June 2023 with an assured pay rise.
It is unclear whether they can convince the pair into penning extensions.
As per Fabrizio Romano, the club have offered a new four-year deal to Xhaka.
Bellerin’s agent is in London, and the Gunners could take the opportunity to dish out a new contract.
Arsenal have two friendlies against Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur before the new season.’
