Arsenal have provided a fresh fitness update on Thomas Partey and Gabriel Martinelli ahead of the Premier League clash against Southampton.
The Gunners have lost their way in the league in recent months and they are currently just five points adrift of the relegation places.
The club have picked up just one point from the previous five matches while they have lost each of their past four league matches at home.
Hence, the pressure is right on manager Mikel Arteta, but as things stand, the hierarchy continue to fully support the Spaniard.
Ahead of tonight’s game at the Emirates Stadium, the Gunners have provided a fitness update on the likes of Partey and Martinelli.
Partey picked up a fresh thigh injury during the north London derby defeat, but there appears no positive news at the moment.
The Ghana international is still working with the medical team and has yet to return to training with his teammates.
Martinelli, on the other hand, has been involved in full training after a serious ankle injury which required a surgery earlier this year.
The Brazilian has been involved with the development squad, but it is unclear whether he will make the matchday squad for tonight’s clash.
