Gazetta dello Sport journalist Nicolo Schira has revealed that Manchester United have expressed an interest in signing Paulo Dybala from Juventus during this summer’s transfer window.
The Argentine has spent the past four seasons with the Old Lady but his future with the club has come into question this summer with new boss Maurizio Sarri yet to provide him with the assurance of regular gametime.
As such, there has been the speculation that he could fancy a move to the Premier League and Schira claims that United are prepared to bid £72m (80 million euros) to land the attacker’s signature.
Still, the deal does not remain simplistic with the player said to want wages of around £173,000-a-week which the Red Devils will get to know through the player’s agent and brother Mariano.
Meanwhile, reports elsewhere have indicated that Romelu Lukaku could be offered in a straight-exchange deal for the Argentine this summer, but the former could scupper the Red Devils’ plans of doing so.
Lukaku has shown the eagerness to link up with Inter Milan to work under Antonio Conte and the Belgian is said to prioritise a move to the Nerazzurri ahead of the Serie A holders.
