Manchester United are reportedly on the verge of securing the signature of Aaron Wan-Bissaka from fellow Premier League side Crystal Palace this month.
The Red Devils have been hot on the trail of the England youth international in the past few weeks and Standard Sport claims that the club are now close to reaching an agreement.
United have yet to finalise the transfer fee with the Eagles but reports indicate that they will speed up negotiations this week to secure the services of the young right-back.
It is further added that United would have to part with a record £60m package for a British player, although around £10m could be adjusted in the form of performance-based add-ons.
Wan-Bissaka has been with the England under-21s for the European Championship in Italy but he is expected to return shortly after the team’s shock exit at the group phase.
That should further aide their aim to land the player’s signature with reports elsewhere suggesting they have a medical scheduled for the player at their Carrington training base next week.
