A selection of Arsenal fans have praised the showing of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang during the second leg of their Europa League semi-final against Valencia.
The north London side went into the tie with a 3-1 advantage from the opening leg at the Emirates and they suffered a nervous beginning with Kevin Gameiro scoring in the 11th minute of the clash.
However, Aubameyang eased the nerves with the equaliser six minutes later and this allowed the Gunners to take control of the game as they went 1-1 into the break.
In the second period, the Gunners were simply ruthless with their finishing and Aubameyang took the plaudits for two of those goals including his hat-trick strike which came through a sumptuous effort at the near post.

The hat-trick was Aubameyang’s first in the Arsenal shirt and the exploits surely came at the right time with the Gunners not in the best of form coming into the game.
Moreover, there were concerns whether they can hold on to the two-goal cushion but they managed to overcome their weakness at the back with their effectiveness on the opposite end where they scored four times.
