Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has said that he has no concerns with Kepa Arrizabalaga but a decision regarding his participation against Tottenham Hotspur has yet to be made.
The Spain international made the news for the wrong reasons after refusing to get substituted during the dying stages of the League Cup final which Manchester City eventually won on penalty kicks.
Speaking ahead of the Spurs game, Sarri confirmed that he has no issues with the shot-stopper but his participation in the midweek London derby has yet to be decided.
The Italian added that the best outcome will be sorted before matchday and that should remain in the welfare of the team set out to play against Mauricio Pochettino’s men.
Chelsea are presently three points behind the top four positions but they have a game in hand to capitalise and make ground on Arsenal, who are presently occupying the final Champions League spot.
Still, they need to come victorious against Spurs at the Bridge or else they could start playing catch up which would no doubt bring further questions regarding Sarri’s future at the club.
