Manchester United are reportedly keeping close tabs on the progress of Jadon Sancho with a view to pursuing the Borussia Dortmund winger in the summer.
The 18-year-old made the move from Manchester City to the Bundesliga during the summer of 2017 and he has since developed into one of Europe’s hottest young prospects while becoming a regular starter.
According to Metro, the Red Devils are monitoring the developments of the former City graduate and they could lodge an attempt to sign him when the season comes to a close.
It is added that the Englishman would prefer a return to the Premier League in the future, though Dortmund are unlikely to accept a package less than £90m for the talented winger.
United are currently loaded with wide options with Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard among the regular picks and they are still keen on signing a ‘specialist’ on the right wing which was the case under ex-boss Jose Mourinho.
City are understood to have the first refusal on their former graduate, although Pep Guardiola has previously indicated that the teenager may not make a comeback so long as he is at the helm.
