Sky Sports reporter Fabricio Romano has confirmed that Arsenal have eventually reached an agreement to sign Denis Suarez from Barcelona on a temporary basis.
The north London side have been on the trail of Suarez since the turn of the year and they seem to have eventually found the breakthrough with the Catalan giant regarding an initial loan move.
The Blaugrana had been reluctant to part ways with the midfielder without an obligatory buy clause earlier in the month but the Gunners have managed to convince them without the option included.
Still, Unai Emery’s side will have the chance to sign him for around 20 million pounds in the summer, provided the manager has been sufficiently impressed with the Spaniard’s showing.
Aside from Suarez, the Gunners have also been linked with Inter Milan’s Ivan Perisic but they are yet to find an agreement with the Nerazzurri holding a similar stance to Barcelona earlier in the month.
