Kante and Hudson-Odoi start, Strongest Predicted Chelsea FC lineup (4-2-3-1) to face Crystal Palace

Chelsea FC will be aiming for a sixth-straight Premier League win when they host Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge on Saturday. The west London giants are currently positioned comfortably in the fourth spot with a six-point advantage over fifth-placed Arsenal and they have the opportunity to maintain the gap before the international break resumes.

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Predicted Lineup:

Kepa Arrizabalaga did not have the best of games against Ajax in the Champions League in midweek but he redeemed himself with a couple of crucial saves towards the end of the 4-4 draw. He is expected to start in goal.

In the defence, it could be the same combination from the last league game. Cesar Azpilicueta and Emerson should slot into the full-back spots with Kurt Zouma and Fikayo Tomori featuring at the heart of the backline.

There remains the temptation to start Reece James and potentially field Azpilicueta at left-back but Lampard may continue to stick with Emerson, who has impressed despite his injury concerns this term.

In the centre of the park, Jorginho is out through a suspension. This makes the selection simple with Mateo Kovacic expected to partner N’Golo Kante, who will make his first appearance after his injury comeback.

In the attack, there could be the solitary change from recent games with Callum Hudson-Odoi potentially replacing Mason Mount, who remains doubtful with a slight ankle problem.

Christian Pulisic may take up the number 10 position to facilitate Hudson-Odoi return to the starting lineup from his preferred role on the left side of the Blues attack.

Predicted Chelsea FC lineup: Kepa Arrizabalaga, Cesar Azpilicueta, Kurt Zouma, Fikayo Tomori, Emerson, Mateo Kovacic, N’Golo Kante, Willian, Christian Pulisic, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Tammy Abraham.
