Chelsea FC are reportedly confident of agreeing contractual terms with Callum Hudson-Odoi, who is recovering after an operation for an Achilles tendon damage.
The teenager had found gametime hard to come by with the Blues during the opening half of the previouscampaign and there were suggestions that he could head through the exit door in January with Bayern Munich interested.
However, the Blues decided to snub multiple offers from the German champions and thereafter, Hudson-Odoi was offered with a fair chance to impress in the Premier League until he succumbed to a season-ending Achilles injury.
According to The Mirror, the west London side are yet to finalise a contract extension with their graduate but they remain confident of pushing through a deal as they are prepared to reward the teenager with a fresh £100,000-a-week extension.
The same publication reveals that Bayern still hold an interest in Hudson-Odoi but they are now also on the look out for other targets as they aim to cover the void left by the departures of Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery in the club’s ranks.
