Chelsea are reportedly tracking the situation of Philippe Coutinho at Barcelona with Eden Hazard fancied to make the move to Real Madrid at the end of the season.
Hazard currently has 17 months remaining on his existing deal and it has been suggested that his reluctance to pen an extension will see him sold during the summer.
According to The Independent, the Blues are keeping tabs on the proceedings of Coutinho, who was formerly in the ranks of league rivals Liverpool.
The Brazil international has struggled this campaign with just four goals and two assists in the Spanish La Liga and this has already spread speculation that he could make way from the Camp Nou.
Still, Coutinho won’t be available on the cheap but reports indicate that the Blues could recoup the majority of the funds from Hazard for whom they are likely to place a £100m price tag for the summer.
Coutinho, who was purchased by Barcelona for a £142m package in January 2018, has also attracted interest from Manchester United amid the uncertainty surrounding his Blaugrana future.
