Arsenal have Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham at the top of their wishlist, Gianluca Di Marzio reports.
The Gunners are lining up a new marksman this summer, and Abraham has emerged as an option for them.
It is now claimed that the Blues graduate is highly regarded by the north London giants.
They are keen on landing his services, but must first offload Alexandre Lacazette.
Lacazette has less than 11 months left on his contract, and the club are willing to sell him.
The Blues want in excess of £40m for Abraham. Aside from the Gunners, Atalanta BC are also interested.
However, the Gunners have the advantage with Abraham likely to give them the preference.
Abraham was a boyhood Arsenal fan. The Gunners would be his first choice destination if he were to leave.
The Gunners’ interest in Abraham has brought out a mixed reaction from the club’s fans.
While some are in favour of the move, others believe that the club should go for a more high-profile striker.
They were recently linked with Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martinez, but he appears unlikely to move.
With Romelu Lukaku’s move to Stamford Bridge, Inter are determined to keep Martinez at all costs.
