Chelsea FC star N’Golo Kante has said that he is feeling good on the playing field after overcoming a string of injury setbacks in the opening months of the season.
The Frenchman has been repeatedly on the sidelines with minor niggles this term and he has managed just six appearances for the Blues in the Premier League.
Out of those, two have come on either side of the recent international break and he was able to complete 90 minutes in both of those games without suffering any fitness concerns.
In a recent interview with Canal +, via HITC, Kante has said that he has finally got over the injury problems and he is hopeful of commanding regular gametime with the Blues hereafter.
“I feel fine, I feel good on the pitch. I went with the national team and it was good for me and I hope that the difficulties are behind and I can give my best for the team,” he said.
Kante is expected to feature in midweek when the Blues face Valencia on the road in the Champions League. The game remains a must-win for them, given Valencia presently have a better head-to-head record in the pursuit of the second spot in the group.
