Some Arsenal supporters have vented their frustration towards the Gunners board after they continued to back the manager despite the 2-2 draw against Southampton over the weekend.
The north London giants had the perfect chance to end a four-match winless streak in the league on Saturday but they squandered the same with a poor defensive display.
The Gunners did manage to come up with a stalemate but the performance was far from impressive, given their blushes were saved by some last-ditch defending and poor finishing from the Saints.
Shortly after that result, some of the supporters have called for the dismissal of the manager but Ornstein has now stated that the Spanish tactician will remain at the helm for the midweek Europa League clash.
The former BBC Sport correspondent also stated that the players have been afforded with a couple of days’ break after the Saints’ result and these two points have surprised and angered many Gunners fans.
Here are some of the Twitter reactions:

How can they give Emery the next game? Are they blind?!— Håkon På Berget (@hakon_pa) November 25, 2019
Days off for the lads after that? Unreal— THE LEMMING (@The_L3mming_) November 25, 2019
Emery’s future is currently hanging in the balance and anything less than a victory over Eintracht Frankfurt in midweek could see him axed from the head coach position.
Mauricio Pochettino and Mikel Arteta have been linked with the Gunners in recent days but earlier today, the name of Wolves’ Nuno Espirito Santo has popped up for the probable managerial vacancy.
