Chelsea FC manager Frank Lampard has confirmed that the Blues will be without the services of N’Golo Kante and Pedro for the forthcoming Premier League encounter against Sheffield United at home.
Kante has been nursing an ankle problem over the past few weeks and Lampard has now highlighted that the midfielder remains unfit and will certainly miss the weekend game.
Elsewhere, Pedro has not recovered from the hamstring injury picked up in the warm-up leading to the Norwich City clash last weekend and Lampard has cited that he will probably return after the international break similarly to Kante.
Aside from the duo, Antonio Rudiger is another player, who will sit out the weekend clash after featuring for the development squad in the Premier League 2 on Friday night.
The German has not made a single appearance for the Blues since recovering from a long-term knee injury but Lampard has assured that the centre-back will be in serious contention after the international break.
The Blues have accumulated just four points after the opening three games but they can potentially break into the top four this weekend with a huge margin win combined with other results going their way.
