Arsenal midfield star Mesut Ozil has sent a message to the Gunner fans following the club’s Premier League clash against Wolverhampton Wanderers which ended in a 1-1 draw.
The German ace was handed with just his second league appearance of the season and he was impressive with his distribution and could have grabbed an assist on some other day.
Shortly after the game, Ozil acknowledged that he was pleased to make his comeback to the Premier League after previously going six weeks without making an appearance.
However, he added that the result was not as expected and there are plenty of things to work upon ahead of the games against Vitoria and Leicester City before the international break.
Here is Ozil’s tweet…
Ozil has returned to the Premier League reckoning under Emery and he was able to last the entire 90 minutes during the stalemate against Wolves at the Emirates Stadium.
Next up, the Gunners have an away game at Vitoria in the Europa League and Ozil could be one of those rested with Emery likely to offer opportunities, who were not in the starting mix.
Arsenal are comfortably at the top of their Europa League group with nine points on the board and they can pretty much guarantee their place in the next round with another victory.
Fans in UK stop watching in the stadium they will know what to do
